Design:
Two coupling hubs are
concentrically machined
with concave driving jaws.

Temperature range:
The temperature range depends on the Elastomer insert.

Torsional stiffness:
Depends on the Elastomer insert.

Backlash:
Absolutely backlash-free.

Fit tolerance:
On the hub/shaft connection 0.01 to 0.05 mm.

Speeds:
See table of Elastomer Coupling EK6. Up to 20,000 rpm, over 4,000 rpm a finely balanced version is available.

Material:
Clamping hub: up to series 450 high strength aluminum, from series 800 and up steel.
Conical clamping ring: high strength aluminum.
Elastomer ring: precision molded wear resistant,
and thermally stable polymer.

Non-standard application:
Custom designs with varied tolerances, keyways and non-standard material are available upon request.
